Vision
Is your vision for the future different than that of “big tech?” So is ours. We didn’t grow up dreaming about robots, autonomous weapons, and technologies that violate human rights (ie. facial recognition, location tracking, data mining, and surveillance). We grew up dreaming about small farms, small businesses, and thriving communities – a healthier existence where the rights and freedoms of all living things are respected. We weren’t dreaming of a world without labor, we were enjoying our work and celebrating our ability to contribute. Robots and rockets are cool, if that’s your thing, but they are not everyone’s thing. Creating a world that protects human rights, honors diverse dreams, and empowers all people to achieve them, is something we can get behind. That is our vision for the future, and we think we are not alone.
